Usage Note
Presser means to press (a button, fruit) but also to hurry or rush someone. Rien ne presse ('there's no rush') is a very common set phrase. Se presser means to hurry up. The noun la presse (the press, i.e., media) comes from the same root, as does pressé meaning 'in a hurry' or 'squeezed' (jus pressé, freshly squeezed juice).
Examples
"Rien ne presse, on a le temps."
