Usage Note
Voire is a formal or literary intensifier that pushes a statement further, equivalent to 'or even' or 'indeed'. It precedes the stronger element it introduces — difficile, voire impossible means 'difficult, even impossible'. It is not interchangeable with voir (to see) and should not be confused with it in writing.
Examples
"C'est difficile, voire impossible."
Natural Translation
It's difficult, even impossible.
