Usage Note
Nabot is a pejorative and offensive term for a very short person; it should be used with care and is generally only encountered in older literary texts or to signal a character's rudeness. The final -t is silent. The neutral, respectful term for a person of short stature is une personne de petite taille. The feminine form is nabote.
