Subjectif contrasts with objectif and describes opinions, perceptions, or judgements influenced by personal feelings. The feminine is subjective. The noun subjectivité is used in philosophy and criticism. In French academic writing, authors often warn readers that a judgement is forcément subjectif (inevitably subjective).
