Stresser is a verb derived from the English noun 'stress' and is widely used in everyday French. It can be transitive (ça me stresse = it stresses me out) or reflexive/intransitive. The noun le stress is also borrowed and invariable. This verb is informal — in formal writing angoisser or causer du stress would be preferred.
