Usage Note
Pull is a shortening of the English pullover borrowed into French, used for any knitted sweater. It is extremely common in everyday speech; the more formal synonym is tricot or chandail. Note the final 'l' is pronounced in French, unlike in many French words ending in a consonant.
Examples
"Elle porte un pull rouge aujourd'hui."
Natural Translation
She is wearing a red jumper today.
