Polisson describes a mischievous child or, as an adjective, something slightly risqué or naughty. The feminine form is polissonne. In older literature it could carry a stronger sense of 'rogue' or 'scoundrel', but in modern use it is mostly affectionate or mildly reproving when applied to children.
