Usage Note
pamplemousse is grammatically masculine: un pamplemousse. Learners sometimes guess feminine because of the -e ending. In France it almost always refers to the yellow grapefruit (Citrus paradisi); the pomelo is sometimes distinguished as pomélo in careful usage but the two terms are often used interchangeably.
Examples
"Je bois un jus de pamplemousse chaque matin."
Natural Translation
I drink a glass of grapefruit juice every morning.
