Also means
arrogance, haughtiness
Usage Note
Morgue has two quite distinct senses: the place where bodies are kept (la morgue de l'hôpital) and, in a more literary register, a cold haughtiness of manner. The latter sense, once common in the 17th–19th centuries, is now rare in modern speech but still appears in literature.
Examples
"Le corps a été transporté à la morgue."
Natural Translation
The body was taken to the morgue.
