Fée appears widely in fairy-tale vocabulary: conte de fées means 'fairy tale' and fée marraine (or bonne fée) means 'fairy godmother'. The adjective féerique (magical, enchanting) is a useful derived form. The expression avoir des doigts de fée describes someone with exceptionally nimble, skilled hands.
