Usage Note

Cache-cache is the classic children's hiding game, equivalent to 'hide-and-seek' in English. It is always masculine and invariable, and the set phrase is jouer à cache-cache ('to play hide-and-seek'). It combines two forms of the verb cacher ('to hide').
