Bombe primarily means an explosive bomb, but in everyday French it also means an aerosol can or spray (une bombe de laque — a can of hairspray, une bombe de peinture — a spray paint can). In informal speech c'est la bombe means 'it's amazing, it's the bomb', mirroring the English slang. Bombe glacée is also a classic dome-shaped ice-cream dessert.
