Usage Note

Aucun is always used with ne in standard negation: je n'ai aucun doute (I have no doubt at all). Unlike pas de, it strongly emphasizes the zero quantity or absence. The feminine form is aucune. In spoken French, ne is often dropped, leaving aucun as the sole negative marker.
