Usage Note
User (pronounced oo-ZEH) describes gradual wearing out through use — user ses chaussures means 'to wear out one's shoes'. The reflexive s'user means to wear oneself out or to become worn. Do not confuse with the English 'to use' — French uses utiliser or se servir de for that sense.
