Tueur is the masculine noun for killer or hitman, derived from the verb tuer (to kill). The feminine form is tueuse. Tueur en série is the French term for a serial killer. In informal speech c'est un tueur can also mean someone is extremely good at what they do, much like 'he's a killer' in English slang.
