Usage Note
Rincer is used in everyday domestic contexts — rincer la vaisselle (rinse the dishes), se rincer les cheveux (rinse one's hair). The informal phrase se rincer l'oeil means 'to get an eyeful' (to ogle). Like all verbs in -cer, it takes a cedilla before a/o: nous rincions.
Examples
"Rince bien les légumes avant de les couper."
