Recruteur is the standard professional term for someone who recruits staff — either an in-house HR recruiter or a headhunter (chasseur de têtes). The feminine form is recruteuse. In military contexts, a recruteur is an enlistment officer. The verb recruter and abstract noun recrutement (m) complete the family.
