Prodigieux conveys something awe-inspiring in scale or quality — a talent prodigieux, an effort prodigieux. The feminine form is prodigieuse. It is stronger than remarquable and closer to 'staggering' or 'astounding' in register. The adverb prodigieusement means 'prodigiously/incredibly'.
