Usage Note
Pacha was originally an Ottoman title for a high-ranking official. In modern French it is used informally to describe someone who lives in great comfort and lets others do all the work: vivre comme un pacha means to live like a lord. The expression conveys mild irony about someone who enjoys an easy, pampered life.
Examples
