Usage Note
Jojo is almost always used ironically in the fixed expression c'est pas jojo (it's not great, it's a bit grim) or pas très jojo (not very pretty). On its own it can mean cute or attractive, but learners will encounter the ironic negative construction far more often. It is invariable and belongs to very informal spoken French.
Examples
"Ce quartier n'est pas très jojo."
Natural Translation
This neighbourhood isn't very nice.
