Irlandais serves as both adjective and noun. The feminine is irlandaise, and l'irlandais refers to the Irish language (Gaelic). L'Irlande is the country. An Irish person is un Irlandais / une Irlandaise; note the capital letter for the nationality noun but lowercase for the adjective.
