Intituler means to give a title to a work, chapter, or speech, and its reflexive form s'intituler ('to be called/titled') is very common — ce livre s'intitule… ('this book is titled…'). The reflexive is often more natural than the active voice. The related noun is intitulé, meaning 'title' or 'heading'.
