Détaillé describes something broken down thoroughly, with all particulars included: un rapport détaillé (a detailed report), des instructions détaillées (detailed instructions). The feminine form is détaillée. The verb détailler can also mean to sell retail, and le détail means both 'the detail' and 'retail' (as in vente au détail).
