Usage Note

Cérébral can describe something anatomically related to the brain (accident cérébral = stroke) or, informally, a person who is intellectual and overly analytical. The feminine form is cérébrale and the plural cérébraux / cérébrales. Hémisphère cérébral means 'cerebral hemisphere'.
