Bronzé is the past participle of bronzer used as an adjective, describing skin darkened by the sun. It is the standard word for a sun tan in French (être bronzé — 'to be tanned'). The process is called le bronzage, and a sunbed is un lit de bronzage. The feminine form is bronzée.
