Usage Note
Bla-bla (also written blabla) is an informal, slightly dismissive word for speech or writing that is long-winded and empty of real content. It is invariable — the plural is the same form — and is often used in political criticism: c'est du bla-bla means 'it's just hot air'. The English equivalent 'blah blah' shares the same onomatopoeic origin.
Examples
